inky umbrella is a website that lets teachers create registries for things they want in their classrooms. inky umbrella connects teacher’s wishes with local businesses to fulfill their needs. Parents, family and anyone who wants to contribute to a teacher’s registry can come to inkyumbrella.com, and select the name of their teacher to find out what their teacher wants. From there, you can make purchases that will go directly to their classrooms.

inky umbrella was created by Teresa Jennings and Alex Weaver Crawford, two local business owners and friends who saw that they could help connect educators with resources that they need while supporting local businesses. Teresa is the proud owner of Scheherazade Books and Music, a book store in Uptown Saint John. Alex is a designer (and mom) who works with graphics, web, built spaces, and beyond.
